What I’d want
Not a guide.
Just a few things I love.
Some I already have.
Some I reach for without thinking.
Some I’d keep.
Some I’d pass down.
A flower I always stop for—
even if I don’t bring it home.
A ring designed by one of my best friends— Anita Ko.
one I keep coming back to.
A bag I don’t own yet—
but already feels like mine.
I’ve never been someone who keeps a gratitude journal,
but I believe in it.
Noticing what you have.
Saying thank you for it.
It’s something I tell my children—
so it feels important I actually practice it too.
And this one happens to be really chic.
(It comes in sage too.)
A Dôen blouse—
always.
A crochet head scarf—
I can’t resist one, especially for summer.
A sapphire tennis necklace—
gifted, and already packed for Rome.
Ilia Dear Ruby—
just ran out.
My go-to for a lip & cheek stain.
Under-eye masks—
for the two of us, primping in bed.
A pink camera by Camp Snap—
screen-free, to keep us in the moment.
The Sweetheart bunny plush—
Olympia and I collect them.
Our sweeter version of a Labubu.
A small heart frame—
for a photo of all of us.
A little book—
just a few reasons I love my mom.
Hoping my kids fill one out for me.
And I’ll do the same for mine.
A small statue—
the one that inspired the cover of Boycott Heaven.
On our bedroom mantle.
A few things that are just part of our life.
And then the rest—
the parts you can’t wrap,
but always feel the most.
And really—
it’s them.
Ours.

A few are linked.
